Elder Law
There may very well come a time when a loved one begins to show signs of needing specialized care in their older age. It's a horrifying prospect. What's more, the last thing anyone wants to consider when confronting such a reality is discussing the matter with an attorney. It's a highly vulnerable and scary time, and, unfortunately, many people don't have positive experiences with most attorneys.
The very first signs of someone in the family possibly needing medicare or medicaid services is when one should consider reaching out for an advocate. Steps need to be taken to ensure that person will be eligible for state benefits without depleting their life savings and intended legacy. I approach these situations as an advocate with an open ear and an eagerness to carry the legal burdens for my clients through that difficult stage in everyones' lives.
